*UPDATED* The Remaining Spartans (and their possible roles in Halo 4)

I’m talking about Spartan II’s, not any Spartan III’s and IV’s.

Linda-058 (Just left Dyson Sphere)
Kelly-087 (Just left Dyson Sphere)
Naomi-010 (Assigned to Kilo-Five)
Jerome-092 (In cryo on Spirit of Fire)
Alice-130 (In cryo on Spirit of Fire)
Douglas-042 (In cryo on Spirit of Fire)
Jai-006 (MIA, Grey Team)
Adriana-111 (MIA, Grey Team)
Mike-120 (MIA, Grey Team)
Black-One (MIA, Black Team)
Black-Two (MIA, Black Team)
Black-Three (MIA, Black Team)
Black-Four (Victor-101) (MIA, Black Team)

If there are any left out, please feel free to comment below, and I will add that Spartan into the list.

There are a total of fifteen Spartan II’s left in the UNSC.

I somehow think that a few of these characters, other than Master Chief, are going to make an appearance in Halo 4 for some reason.

The Master Chief is, obviously, going to land on a Forerunner shield-world, possibly the Dyson Sphere, renamed Trevelyan to honor the death of Kurt-051. An ONI base has been established on this shield-world, which would allow the Master Chief to reunite with UNSC forces. But if the Master Chief lands on a different shield-world, then that will be another story.

I’m not sure how Fred, Kelly, and Linda could fall into play. Maybe they’ll be assigned to a mission with the Chief if he is found by UNSC forces.

I’m also not sure how Naomi would fit in. Maybe she would assault the rebel colony of Venezia with the UNSC and possibly Master Chief, if such an operation is required.

Jerome, Alice, and Douglas may be in Halo 4 because the drifting Spirit of Fire may accidently stumble upon the Forerunner shield-world that Master Chief has entered.

Jai, Adriana, and Mike may be eventually found by UNSC forces because the fighting has temporarily ended.

I’m not sure about the four members of Black Team, as I’ve never read that comic series. Apparently, the last time we heard from them was when they were fighting Covenant infantry to try to secure a slipspace drive to escape a moon that their ship crash-landed on.

So, there you have it. These are how the remaining Spartan II’s could possibly fall into the story-line of Halo 4.

I cant wait either its gonna be soo sick. Master Chief is gonna have a whole bunch of badass Spartans helping him out. :slight_smile:

I think I might like it. 343 will have to do it well, because I don’t want another halo reach experience. I hated the other spartans in reach, I just wasn’t feeling it.

Yeah. Hopefully 343 will actually develop these characters even further than they have been in the books. In Reach, the other Spartans weren’t really developed, character wise, at all. We never really got to know them, unlike these Spartan II’s.

I hope they don’t add the other Spartan II’s because they will have to dumb them down like in reach so they don’t wreck and play for you. I like reading a out their badassness in the books. If they did maybe 343i will go the route of halo 2 with switching characters. Play as John getting to a portal, and Fred finding enemies inside. John would use the portal to let the Spartans out and you fight your way onto a covenant/fortunes ship and get to humanity.

Didn’t Linda aka Master Chief’s best friend die? Or am I going to far ahead in the series… Pretty sure she died before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved.

Linda was revived during the course of the novel First Strike. Maybe you are thinking about Grace-093, who wasn’t Chief’s best friend, but acquaintance, that was killed in the same novel.

I never read the Halo books, but that is truly disturbing that 343 would actually go in and tamper with the idea of all spartan’s being MIA so they could make Halo the way they want it.

You may be on to something, I remember seeing a video where 343 said the certain things in the books will be used in the new trilogy which will tie everything together…

i would really enjoy playing as other spartans in 4 player co-op. u could playas kelly or fred u know that would be cool. plus more firefight voices.
