The Asymmetric Recoilless Carbine-920 better known as the Railgun. The Railgun is manufactured by Acheron Security. The Railgun is a compact-channel linear accelerator that fires a high-explosive round at incredible speed, delivering both kinetic and explosive force to hard and soft targets alike. The Railgun does not have a zoom function for good reasons. The Railgun like the spartan laser has to charge before firing but the Railgun’s charge time feels about half of the spartan laser’s charge time. In my own opinion I think that the Railgun will be much more accurate than the spartan laser. I also noticed that when everyone is saying how it works like a spartan laser I think that it works more like a MAC cannon on UNSC capital ships and deference platforms only the super MAC cannons fire a 3,000-ton projectile at around 120,000 kilometers per second, point four-tenths the speed of light. Well I don’t think that the Railgun will fire a slug that big but if you get hit by the slug from the Railgun I don’t think there would be much left of you if not anything. The Railgun will be properly classified as an Anti-Infantry weapon. And sense it has been confirmed by 343 industries that Halo 4 will have destructible environments this weapon could probably bring down a small building and with the master chief using this high-powered weapon who knows what epic adventurer the ARC-920 could bring to Halo 4’s campaign and matchmaking. Like I said before I think the Railgun would work more like a MAC cannon not a spartan laser. And the spartan laser is a Nonlinear Rifle where the ARC-920 uses a compact-channel linear accelerator to fire its projectile making this weapon more like a MAC cannon than a spartan laser.
