So I just updated my Halo 5 and when I go to play it won’t let me past the “Press Start” screen. I hear the button press sound every time I hit it but it dosent take me to the main menu.
Has anyone else had this issue and/or know how to fix it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same issue for myself and two friends. Closing it, rebooting console, still not working. Off to Forza.
Fuking Great 343 You’ve done -Yoinking!- HALO !!! All it has been doing is kicking players ! Not loading right and its glitch city ! Like seriously Wth ! First the Spawns ! then the aiming ! then the kicking ! now I cant even start up my fuking game are you serious?!

Actually after typing that it started went to the main menu. I did close the game and restart several times though.

I hope this helps, but basically I just left it to load the message of the day. Seems to have taken close to 10 minutes. After that everything works like normal, I’m joining a game now.

Thank goodness, I’m not alone. It must be some kind of glitch going on right now or a weird update 343 is making to their servers
If you notice in the bottom lefthand corner it is loading. It is hidden because the world is white too. As I was typing this it just started working hurray!

Update your controller, even if it says no update available, sounds dumb but it fixed mine right away
I had the same problem last night I reset everything. Router, Xbox, un plugged the console too. Turned everything back on and waalaaa I’m back in action.
