A group of Spartans and Marines have been stranded, with hordes of flood knocking at the gates. They must survive long enough for help to arrive…or be infected.
5 waves per round 10 rounds per match 30 seconds in between each wave to fortify your position/buy upgrades AI spawns last for 2 minutes and then stop spawning, wave ends when all AI units have been killed.
Players get points for doing tasks during waves (completing objectives, kills, and assists)
Players can spend these points on upgrades for their spartan, spawn in AI Marines, and to fortify their position during the 30 second down time in between the waves.
All players points are added to a sum total and divided equally between players
Fallen Marines can be resurrected as flood, as well any any fallen flood that wasn’t fully killed. When a player dies, they respawn as an infected spartan. They lose all their upgrades but have unlimited lives. During the break between waves, they can choose where to spawn and coordinate with other fallen Spartans where the AI will spawn and focus their attack.
The 5th wave of each round has a boss players must defeat.

So you want a CoD zombies and Gears Horde hybrid? Why not just standard firefight with custom options?

Nope, never said there was, just trying to make a quick summary.
Personally not keen on the you join the infected option when you die though.
But wouldn’t what I stated above be suitable? Just make it firefight with more custom settings? I mean, we could do to firefight what horde did from Gears 2 to 3. We could make a massive leap forward.
I will say I really doubt Infinite will have the flood what with it being a T and not M game.

H4 had no flood but still had an M rating. It was quite easy to get an M rating back then, I think they could add flood and keep the T, maybe a Pegi 16+ at most.
I forget where I saw it but I read an article of games that would be rated T nowadays and H3 was one of them.
It was M because of the scene where the scientists disintegrate

ODST because it packaged with Halo 3 content I guess, and Reach is possibly the outlier unless it’s because
of the assassinations and blood.
DLC rating is different than the core game, that’s why TW can make the blood gore DLCs for some of their games without affecting the T rating.
Doesn’t have the Flood though, it isn’t anymore violent than the other games aside from assassinations, which those were in H4 unless my memory is failing me hard, and you said it was rated M because of the cutscene
You’re confusing yourself here. I’m trying to say if the flood was added it’d be M whereas Infinite is a T. Or they’d at least not come back with the impact they need like taking over live bodies etc. Whereas you’re trying to say games without The Flood were still M and they were M for various reasons, I just gave a couple.
Didn’t know DLC could be packaged with a different rating or at least a higher one from the base game.
They can, the TW DLCs are free too, so it is just a sneaky way of adding blood/gore without raising the rating
You said ODST was M because it was packaged with H3, I proved that wrong, you said Reach was M due to assassinations and blood, it has less blood than older Halo’s and assassinations were in H4 (you said it was only M because of the cutscene)

You’ve got the conversation wrong, you’re supposed to say why Flood would be a T or at least how they’d be added to a T game, which you sort of did by stating dlc can be a different rating. It wasn’t supposed to be a well these games didn’t have flood and they were an M.
ODST wasn’t DLC for 3 but a side game so that may not count towards the expansion work around. The previous games also have worse language than in Infinite.

That doesn’t have anything to do with the flood.
It was still a separate game from H3.
