Jumped on to play and there’s an update. 6GB so far and still going up. Just be prepared people.

Digital. Loads of people getting on now, so update has slowed from 40mbs to 8mbs. Aagh the wait.

Day 1 updates are born from that time zone between the game going gold (finished and sent of to made into discs) and the actual release of the game, which is generally 3-5 weeks or so.
Could you check your overall Halo 5 file size, please? Just go to My Games and Apps, Hover over Halo 5, press the start button (the one with 3 horizontal lines- I can never remember the new name of the “start” button) and select manage. On the “manage” tab your total game file size should be displayed. Is it 56.8 GB, or is it now larger?
so theres another update on top of the 9gb day 1 patch?

I just checked my Xbox and mine says 54.8GB. Sorry about the incorrect number above, it was off the top of my head. Anyways, if your file size is 54.8 GB then, to my understanding, you should be good to go when it is 12:00 EST.

No that’s the thing, it’s 2:30 am now and I need to install a 9 GB update which is beyond me
