Update, you may be charged

What did it mean by I may be charged for the update?

You will not be charged for any Halo 5 update.

You won’t be charged. That’s just a thing Xbox puts on all of its DLC.

It is probably talking about your connection to the internet. You may be charged by your ISP to download the data. Just something thrown in to most downloads to cover butts.

This, I think it’s mostly in reference to ISPs that are too lazy/selfish to expand their infrastructure, thus, they impose those stupid, immoral data caps.

I can confirm this is the exact reason they have that disclaimer on there.

I just got halo 5 on Xbox one there was an update where it says connect time charges may apply when I was installing the game does that mean could get charged money for installing the update??

Please don’t revive old topics! Thank you

TheInfamousRMD I believe that message is for persons that don’t have unlimited internet. Some parts of the world have capped internet, where if you go over the limit you get charged extra. So what I believe that message means is your ISP may charge you.
