So I just got on Xbox live, I load up Halo 4 and download a 30mb update. I sat at the main menu for around 5 minutes because a screen popped up saying “checking downloadable content”. When it finally finished I immediately went and checked my specializations fearful something wrong happened after I just downloaded the specializations code yesterday. It appears my fears have come true. I no longer have all of the specializations. Only operator and wetworks. Is this 343’s way of thanking me for waiting over a week for the new specializations? Seriously, is there any way to fix this or at least get a replacement code? If not, I’m done with Halo 4.

False alarm people, I fixed it. If anyone else has this problem just re-download it!!

Exact same issue, my specs are gone 
I’ve tried redownloading the update to no avail, same issue (though my loadouts didn’t reset like they did initially). Not sure what else to try since the original file which was shown after I redeemed the email is no longer there.

Really? That sucks, but I just re-downloaded it and it fixed itself! Try that again man.
bring up your guide, go left, go to active downloads and it will be sitting there.

Huh? In my active downloads it shows it as empty, since nothing is being downloaded.
If I go Storage > Game/Apps > Halo 4, then I’ve tried deleting “Halo 4 Title Update”
I assume that this was the update file, then I just let it redownload automatically when I restarted Halo4.
Should I delete the others, Halo 4 Game Unlocks (DLC I presume) or Halo 4 Data (seems important)?

Go to your account’s download history and click on the specializations thingy. Then hit re-download.
Just tried that. Redownloaded the Specialization Priority Alpha through download history and still Specializations are limited to only the default 2.
