Although the SWAT game type is pretty great even with what we have today for updates, we have MANY issues with its map rotatoins. DMR games, map spawning, and overall search groupings.
To start things off ill go with the map rotations. im sure many gamers have been rotating between the same 2-3 maps every other game with no change in game type even after restarting searches multiple times. this has happened to me and my team countless times and we have yet to play on maps like Plaza or The Rig for days on end. If an update would please give every map a EVEN chance at play-ability in the rotation counter, im sure this issue will be resolved.
Next on the list will be DMR gaming. im completely ecstatic that the DMR has made its way into the SWAT game list, but it is not a balanced weapon with its default scope that can see across entire maps with ease and higher rate of fire. As a substitution i would recommend changing the standard DMR scope with the recon sight so that is is more balanced with the BR than anything else.
Third up is the dreaded spawning system that nobody that plays arena likes at all. Go back and re-sync all spawns with color because teams seem to group together when certain members get too far away from everyone. for example. i managed to get a KT (on 1 person) on a map due to just looking at one area whilst my team were fighting other enemies on different areas of the arena. Regroup the spawns for teams and not just general player location.
Last but not least, Search Groups. I know Halo 5 is supposed to be introducing more social means to the servers, but it is very lacking in that when it comes to searching for players. Almost every game that is played in either Warzone or Arena, no team ever stays the same. always rotated out and mixed into another group. I would hope for an update to bring back the Reach type of social servers where everyone could see who they were going against by name and stay with that specific group of people after the match has ended.
Even though these are just ideas, im sure if they were put into play, the Halo community would be better in some ways.
