What are your suggestions for the next MCC updates? Do you wish to see more maps being added? More customisation options for particular games?
I would personnally love to see a third person skull to be added to the titles, i think it would really be a great addition as a non-scoring skull. Maybe an audio fix for H2C? The sounds and soundtracks seems broken when compared to the original Xbox version.

More Halo Online maps for Halo 3. Would love to see some more Halo 2 maps remade for Anniversary multiplayer. I think H2A MP is very underrated and deserves some support.
I would also like all of the cut halo mcc armour to make it into the game as well as the halo 4 cut weapon skins and the spartan stances from the xbox 360 halo 4
The unused Stealth Elite enemy type finished for ODSTâs Firefight (in the files, just missing the Commando Harness iirc)
The unused Spec-Ops Grunts added to Floodfight Spec-Ops Elite Boons (in the files iirc, was also used as a reference model for an official figurine around 09)
Brute Tracker enemies added to ODST Firefight (in the files and unused, potentially meant for Brute Sniper class instead of the Brute Ultra rank)

being able to have a universal way of skipping cutscenes would be nice. also, now that they added the opportunity to change backgrounds, i really hope theyâll add a way to at least listen to each song of each games soundtrack. it would be cool to customize what songs play during each menu, ie halo 2âs guitar halo theme as the main menu music
Iâd really like if 343 put some time into fixing co-op on Halo 2. Itâs almost impossible to get through a campaign mission without some kind of error happening while playing co-op online.
When Halo 4 Mod tools come along with H2A mod tools, hopefully Spartan Ops gets matchmaking, it got moved in the previous Floodfight update back in April this year to the Firefight menu but since then nothing has happened with it.
A hub for file share, so you can search, browse, and download game modes/maps/etc people upload.

Removeable boundaries in Forge and Custom Games, making maps like Forge World, Tempest, Ridgeline, Forge Island any of the H2A canvases even bigger.
Rest of the Halo 4 campaign assets brought to H4 Forge, whereâs the target locator? We could mod this in on the 360 but it canât be added as an official weapon despite it being in Reach as well?
ODST Armor for H2A. H2 is the game that introduced ODSTs to the franchise, feels a little disrespectful to not include at least ONE ODST armor set for H2A.
Bandanna for Halo 4. If any game actually needs this skull, itâs Halo 4. The campaign has always had a serious lack of ammo, this would be greatly appreciated.
The rest of the body armor pieces for Halo Reach for the mideval armor sets.
I like your suggestions but just on the following 2 points;
I feel like a bigger issue needs to be addressed with client-based toggles to facilitate this stuff.
A lot of people loved Halo for its unique Military Sci-Fi inspired image. People have a specific image in their head when they think of Halo and Spartans. So, I feel like with the newer stuff, this core identity is diluted a lot.
This means that anything added which does add to this core visual identity of Halo, like this suggestion for ODST armour, doesnât really matter for a section of the playerbase. Since, in order to appreciate it in-game you have to also tolerate the other things which detract from that.
Overall, there is a big stylistic clash in Halo with the new âfractureâ type armour they have added and I feel like theyâve boxed themselves into a corner. As now they have to appease people that like Halo for sticking to its core visual identity and people that are less stringent on that and just like cosmetics because theyâre âcoolâ.
The current approach only really appeases the latter which means they donât have much reason to even try and appease the former at all.
Side note on Reach request
Obviously, Halo 3 and Reach have different Bipeds, and thus different proportions. So, it would take considerable effort to scale all those armours to the Reach Biped
All in all though, it doesnât really matter since with 343i winding down development on MCC these sorts of requests, whilst nice to think about, arenât that realistic since theyâre done with cosmetics now.
Iâd love to have an option to play maps between different games, for example Death Island from Halo CE in Halo 3âs engine with Halo 3âs sandbox. Coagulation from Halo 2 in Halo Reach with Halo Reachâs sandbox.
Iâm not sure maps could be back ported to Halo CE or 2 from Halo 3-4 but Iâm pretty sure maps from Halo 3, Reach and Halo 4 could be interchangeable between themselves due to the engines all being launched on the same hardware originally.
I honestly think that Containment from Halo 2 would play great in Halo 3âs engine with Halo 3âs sandbox!
Except they arenât. This most recent update wasnât the FINAL update. Hell Iâd be willing to bet theyâll decide to continue support for MCC now that Infinite is essentially a âNo mans landâ.
The big one: Split-screen on PC
thatâs the only thing that I really want and think is necessary for the Master Chief Collection to be in a complete state.
Past that, most of what I have are small and donât matter much. I really want legacy content to return, existing functions to be fleshed out, Beta content preserved, and each game to be on-par with one-another.
First time Playlist completion should grant a season point,
Firefight weekly playlists,
As many skulls should cross over when possible and be added to Firefight,
The exchange should have a wider weekly selection,
Nameplates, skins, and Avatars that arenât readily available (only available for a limited time, only in system files but not obtainable, dependent on playing another game) should be added to the Exchange,
Games without expanded visor color options or weapons and vehicles that lack skin options should gain them,
Halo Combat Evolved Anniversaryâs scan function should return,
Halo 2: Anniversary should use campaign cosmetics (ODST, Marine, Pilot, Honor Guard, Flight, Heretic and Council armor sets should be added),
The Halo Online maps brought in,
Halo Reach including Lone Wolf as a Firefight map with extra structures to better serve for Firefight,
Halo Reach Firefight settings to be on par with ODST
There are dozens of others, but those are my top few.
Itâs not the final update. Just the final delivery of armours that they were working on before. They only said theyâre working on delivering leftover planned content for the duration of 2022. After that it will be much smaller fixes just focusing on restoring parity with legacy games, where possible
