So if u havent found out yet, well the june updates out (9gb) now I know not to hard reset my xbox lol but its stuck at 0% for last 15 min how do i fix this without doing the 30+ Gb update (plz compress your games 343)

Ske7ch says that even though it appears frozen and stuck at 0%, it’s still downloading and to let it continue to run.
Look in the “Game Update Today” thread, I think ske7ch and others might have tricks to fix it.
It started about 15-20min in for me. Tried the pause and unpause trick, dunno if that actually worked.

If you go to the actual download area (where you can watch it download, you can move over the game you are downloading and press down on the (start button?) on your Xbox controller and it will open the settings for the download. Press “manage game” and it should give you the ability to pause the download.
Someone correct me, idk what button that is lol.

but where you pause it though?
also it’s not letting me pause it.
It’s gonna take a few minutes for it to say it’s paused (just wait it out). As for where it’s at, I’m not a techy and I’m not at my Xbox, so I’m not 100% sure where you’re at lol
Also I’m not the one who originally figured this out. Just passing along the info because it works most of the time.
So, anyone on PC having issues with the download? Mine’s stuck at 1.25 MB out of 3.75 MB, and the progress bar has not moved. At all. In fact, it’s empty.
It’s been like this for the last 30 minutes or so.

Been twenty min since I clicked pause and it’s still doing nothing.
Edit: Went back to check and it started. So it could take 20+ minutes to pause, but it works. Too bad the update started from the beginning and did nothing in the past 30+ min.

Go to games and apps, go to the last tab. Should show the update is downloading. Press the start button (or whatever the button is called now) while on the update, press pause update. The pause may take up to 5 minutes but once you start the installation again it’ll start pretty much immediately
That’s only concerning the Xbox version. I haven’t seen anything about the PC version. And this is the first time I’ve had any issues downloading an update.
It’s very important that you do not turn off your Xbox.
I did mine out of habit and now I’m downloading 30 gigs…
No idea about PC… Sorry Sgt. Braken

I have had mine stuck like that when Johnson dropped
Just leave it, it will go through (Its just doing background cache checks of your pc data and what it needs to download)

This. Same thing happened to me. Pause wasn’t working so hard report and immediately that fixed it. But now 29.24gb.
