They are sending people codes through their Xbox Live account. This will be viewable in your Xbox Live messages on Xbox.com or on your console. These are coming out in the next couple days. Read up on this for more information.
It seems to me that this issues was really never in the hands of 343i, but in Microsoft’s. Mainly because they were in charge of generating codes and sending them out.
I still haven’t received mine and just like everyone else have been patiently waiting. 343i has so many people giving the same complaint over and over again that they’re trying to handle things as quick as possible. A few hundred people working to make thousands happy is hard. But goes a long way. I appreciate what they’re doing and they’re doing their hardest.
The fact that there was an invalid e-mail address issue shows that it had nothing to do with 343i. They wouldn’t have direct access to anyone’s Xbox Live Account e-mail. On top of that saying that there were some invalid is malarkey because I just had my 3 month subscription renew today and got my e-mail confirmation from Xbox as well. It just shows that 343i had nothing to do with it - at least in my eyes.
Definetley appreciate the work they’re doing and the communication from BS Angel. #thankyouverymuch
So after being an SR70 for 3 weeks, I’m going to have wait even longer to be able to level up? That’s just wonderful. In my opinion, 343i went way too overboard with the bonus content.

This isn’t the same story I got from an xbox agent less than 10 minutes ago. They told me they are taking emails if you call in and sending them to 343. They have been taking people’s emails all day. Sorry, just stating the truth, I’m getting different stories all the time from this forum site and even the agent said that the forums on here are very disorganized. So what is the real story - yours or xbox’s?
I just played it safe and gave them my email when I asked for it, they checked everything over and said that I should have gotten this code.
They should have just released a title update that unlocked it for everyone, even people who were never supposed to get it in the first place as an apology.
The content should have never been locked in the first place.
The initiative to unlock the content came sooner than later in the eyes of 343i. A lot of people were pushing for SR50 quickly right out of the gate. And for those who only got the standard version of the game, like myself, were eventually going to get capped off at SR70. Granted those who had the LE version of the game did have a head start having all Specializations unlock, I don’t think 343i or even Microsoft knew how fast people were going to be pushing for this multiplayer content.
And it’s not to late to make up for what’s been wronged.
