How can i update the spartan armor look in Halo Waypoint? Stats still showing the standard recruit armor.
I would like to know how to do this too because I want to show of my Mark VI armour as my Avatar.
Agreed, I’ve been stuck with this recruit armor for a week now.
Same here, not playing offline, and spent quite a bit of time on XBL and still no armor update
Waypoint and Halo 4 are having launch problems. Things are slowly being fixed, but Halo 4 is taking priority. As soon as they fix Halo 4 so it runs smoothly, they should start working on fixing Waypoint again.
Same issue here. It’s still showing my recruit armor.
Didn’t know this was a problem. I’ve been able to change armor while logged in to the forums, hit refresh, and see the difference on my avatar. All in all, it doesn’t seem like forum avatars are as much of a priority as in-game glitches and exploits, so don’t expect this to be as big a concern as the game crashing consoles when booting up the game.
I have noticed that my emblem updates near-instantaneously, but the armor does not. I did speak to one person whose armor had updated, and the only difference between our accounts is that he did not enter any of the armor/skin codes (he also bought the LE, whilst I had the standard).
I don’t know if this is the root cause, but for those that aren’t seeing armor change updates, are you trying to use pre-order unlocked armor and armor skins? That is, armor not available to everyone from the get-go? I had the GameStop hazop/forest-skin armor on, both as a complete set and as pieces combined with other variants; neither seemed to update my Waypoint avatar.
For those that do see changes, are you using the default choices available to everyone? Or at least those pieces you’ve unlocked that aren’t unique to the different pre-order versions?
Otherwise when I get a chance later tonight I will change my armor to one of the default choices and see if that updates anything.
Let me know what you figure out. I also started with the forest armor.
Haven’t used any pre-order armour (though I should have but Best Buy still hasn’t emailed me). Been using stuff any regular joe could’ve gotten (except for the Mark VI armour, everyone can get it but a regular Joe?)I can wait though. I’d rather see them fix up the game and get those haters to quiet down. I don’t mean people who are having legit problems but people who keep posting threads about how awful Halo 4 is. Thank You 343 for making a great game, the Spartan IV’s are in the II’s out.
I changed my armor to the air assault helmet and torso, with soldier shoulders and RC arms and legs. Played a game of Spartan Ops and saw my XP increase, but the waypoint avatar did not change.
I guess my hypothesis was incorrect. I’ll wait for other updates as they’re released. At least the armor does update in War Games correctly.
Well as of yesterday, my ID tag was updated, but not my armor. Last night I changed my armor and ID tag, and now neither of them are updated. Still has standard recruit armor, and the ID tag I had 2 days ago.
I’ve updated my armour and color but no changing on here or on the waypoint app witht eh console, just halo 4. Its annoying the living daylights out of me, I want my smexier avatar then the sill orange pheonix look…Waypoint, pleas fix all bugs asap, please…
Right now I see my old one, and the xbox itself, its the better looking one that has different and better colors…
I know right? I’m sick of seeing myself as the same red Spartan in recruit armor. It only updates for the Halo 4 stat apps or overview.
Pretty sure everyone is having this problem. It’s all good though, as long as my armor shows ingame I’m fine. Lol.
