So after Christmas we turned on our XBONE to update our games both new and old (we had it off to hide the games we got for everybody) and after about an hour most of our games finished there updates. Halo 5 was next to finish it was at 95% so I boot up YouTube and we all watch videos for a good few hours, I check halo 5’s update and it at 120%… Uh okay that’s weird I’ll wait it out it must be a bug… Later that night it’s around 750% alright I’ll wait till 1000% that has to be when the update finishes. The last percentage I was at before I just uninstalled and started it back up was 1,121, I looked this problem up and saw some similar issues but no great fixes or explanation of the issue only telling me to just reinstall. After a few hours it’s back at 93% and I’m really hoping it installs correctly this time
I read this is most common with downloaded games but my halo 5 is a physical
anyone else have this problem or theories as to why? Or any way to possible prevent further issues?
im sure it’s just a Microsoft issue with data and all that jazz,
This happened to a friend of mine but reinstalling fixed it. Kind of a pain though.
I have no idea how it could happen. Maybe a really bad spot of packet loss?
