Update on Warzone 12-Man Fireteams!

Don’t know if anyone has replied to this already, but fireteams don’t have to be companies, it’s just a fancy term for players in your halo 5 party

Well duh this is a special playlist so that people play teams of 12v12 since clans(companies) liked to farm too much before they can now fight against another 12 man trying to do the same

I seen dude saying should make an Assault Warlords too, I think he is right, it would be unfair just to hit one percentage and not hit the other, plus its not like they are updating a pile of playlist like they would in arena its just two playlist very simple and very easy.

That and I really doubt we will see a Halo 6 til at least fall of 2018. Wacky rumors destroy braincells so stop posting them, not you two lol but the ones who are posting them, knock it off haha.

This turned out to be more fun than I thought. We had repeat matching if teams, but we played a good variety of people. The Xp I cray and it feels nice defeating 12 mans and not having to deal with the incompetence of randoms.

Yes!!! I wish it automatically did this to pre-made teams trying to get into WZ/WZ Assault. One less beating from being farmed/massacred is good!!!

Loving it so far, only issue for me is still the Wasp. My party originally didn’t want to use Wasp spam ourselves so we didn’t plan on it, but another party decided to use it against us and of course rolled us after the REQ snowball it provided for their team. We rematched the same team and spammed Wasps ourselves to prevent them from doing it and rolled over them for a quick core.

Both games were entirely decided by which team spammed Wasps and later Banshees first. With several Wasps up on your team, the other team has no hope of increasing their REQ level high enough to stop it before your team is 4+ REQ levels ahead. The cheaper Laser helped a little if the spam didn’t start until a bit later in the match, but when it starts as soon as players hit 3 REQ, the game is decided.

All the games I played were still way more fun than playing without a team though, so that’s good. REQ snowballing issues just need to be addressed at some point.

Played 10 games against sweaty teams. Won 6, lost 3, we dashboarded on a team who was setting up to farm. The kitty team. As soon as they refused to take the core and set up a spawn trap we were out( refused to play them whenever we saw their logos for the rest of the night, sorry, can’t be a part of that. Not when this playlist might be the last chance 12 player teams ever have) I’m amazed that a few players still desire to farm the playlist, they just can’t be concerned with the little health the community has left, I mean we’re on life support here. There’s really not that many doing so though. Less than 10% according to our stats from the night.

Even with the attempted farm. This was the best night of halo I have played in months. Possibly the best night since launch. I suggest anyone here who hasn’t done so to get on a structured team and try out the playlist. It is so much fun. Farming isn’t a real issue in warlords yet. If you’re getting farmed just dashboard and move on to the next game. Warlords is awesome!

I wonder if it would be possible to adjust req levels for different playlists.

Like the damn wasp. Leave it a req 3 in ff and regular warzone playlist.

In warlords push it to level 4. Wasp spam is cheesy, lame and has made many games a race to level 3 to get the wasp snowball rolling.

Wasp is one of those reqs the community as a whole knows is broken but it’s so broken you’re almost forced into using them.

You mean like what he’s asking here?

From the streams I watched most of the day yesterday, I can say in full confidence that Wasps def need to be moved up to 4, if only for Warlords. Banshee probably should have remained at 6, but Wasps have to be 4.

Generally the games went:
-Team gets level 3
-Suddenly, 3 ~ 5 wasps are up
-Enemy team is quick cored shortly after

Slight exaggeration sure, but the games often boiled down to whoever got their wasps up first, and it was always very early into the games. I understand the wasp’s purpose: Quick, relatively weak compared to other air vehicles, and fragile. They served that purpose quite well, at first. Now though, the flaws in that original goal are becoming very apparent.

I’d say bump the banshee back up to 6, keep the mantis at 5, and move the wasp to 4.
