Bummer, I take it you enjoyed the ZB playlist. Super Slayer is basically the same thing as the beta but with less weighting on the ZB, perhaps if enough people lobby for it, 343 will increase the weighting.

What the hell happened to the new FF gametypes? We got them 1 time then it went back the way it was. We’ve gone through all 3 rounds of voting about a dozen times now and nothing.

i was on here before when 343 took away anny squad and squad slayer. i tried to bring people together. but -Yoink!- and 343 doesnt care about my opinion. The amount of people it will take to get a playlist put back in with 343 running the show will be too much. I voiced my opinion then and got warnings for it and i tried to have a conversation with the moderator who warned me. but he didnt care to reply back.
and with the weighting. i dont really have a problem with it being in there, its just the fact that the one time zb shows up, it will be on a stupid map like uncaged and swordbase. I dont want to play on those maps. And my and my teams vote choices depend on if it will be dmr starts or not, and if it is a good map. So with 1 choice per 2 rounds of voting, the chances that it will be a good map are slim.
Does anybody know where I can DL these new maps? Not by my 360 now and would like to play some customs before I hop into matchmaking.

try searching for them in the file browser.
i played on one of the new maps ellul and its not really something you want to play

Who is making these dumb decisions? Why the chubby for Noob-lock? Kill Squad (no-nooblock) for Super (nooblock)? Kill ZB and rarely add it to Super Slayer?
I thought TS, SWAT, Living Dead, Griff, and Action Sack were for the unskilled little kid masses. I know you want to make Reach popular, but do not sacrifice the hard core fans. Reach is rated “M” for mature. Stop panderfull to kids too young to buy Reach. Is 343i trying to transform Halo into CoD? I hope the same people in charge of the Reach updates are not making Halo 4!!!

Try shutting your XboX off and restarting, I experienced a load failure three games in a row and all of the failures were the old maps. Its a little different then what you are describing, but perhaps it will work for you.

Yeah it generally does not go well when confronting a mod, but dont give up on squad, with the removal of ZB there is an open slot, perhaps a modified squad will make a return. I honestly think 343 should make a squad variant with no AA, increased jump and increased run speed, add a little rank and perhaps a compromise between o and 85% bloom.

Make or find maps that you would prefer and try to get it submitted for MM, lobby for increased weighting with DMR starts on maps you prefer.
I thought the match making update stated ZB would always be in the third slot. Guess I am mistaken.
The new maps are very enjoyable. Finally bringing some verticality back to the maps.

It is the most effective game mechanic when used correctly.

You could always give Arena a shot, no nooblock and ultra competitive and you get ranked, not bad.

I get that, however you would have to admit it had one of the smallest populations out of all the playlist, 343 must have plans for that slot. Hopefully whatever it is will attract more then 500 people at peak times.

Im not sure my intention is to pander to underage players or non-players of Reach, I wish 343 to reward those that love Reach not bend over for those that hate it. I know, crazy concept.

I dont think so, on its worst day Halo Reach is far more difficult to learn and master then CoD, I suspect Halo 4 will be the same.

They seem to be trying to please people, they are doing a decent job, problem is, that you cant start redesigning a game using forums as a guide for its redesign. Bloom has been the war cry on forums for the last year and a half, a ZB playlist is created and it never breaks a 1000 players. That little fact should for anybody watching, be very very telling about the sampling on forums.
