So I noticed that when I play Anniversary, the classic mode isn’t as good as it used to be. Even Frankie confirms this, saying that even the vegetation was downgraded and doesn’t look as superb as it could. I understand why they did this, but with the next console providing more firepower, do you think they would update the classic mode? Or at least upgrade the HD mode? because a lot of textures don’t pop into full detail until I’m close to them.
I honestly don’t see them doing a full re-release of the game (which is what it would require) just to make the Classic game look better.
Or you could go back and play CE. I think it would be a substantial waste of time.

I guess that’s reasonable, Halo CEA was meant for the remastered campaign anyways.
What they really need to do (not that it will ever happen) is do a true re-release of Halo CE w/ it’s original multiplayer on XBL. I don’t even care if they update the graphics. I just want my Halo back.

Trust me, they had good reason for not releasing the CE multiplayer on Xbox Live. I put 100+ hours in Halo pc multi, and still play it on a weekly basis. It’s not easy to put in words, but if you got a feel for the matchmaking system you would understand why it wouldn’t work. Not to mention they had the reach fanbase they didn’t want to frag, and with Halo 4 coming out what was the point?
I don’t even care about a MM system (though I would use it). I just want to be able to play with my buddies online since we have all moved around the country.
