That update that was released by 343 did not improve the game. For me now search times in matchmaking are longer and all the playlists are not working. This did not happen to me before the update.

Dude -Yoink- 343. I think everyone has moved on to something else. The first game i got into was 4v5. They have no idea what they are doing. They are just wasting my hard drive space now. Not to mention that i get kicked after ever game and you cant stay in the same lobby. Im definitely not buying halo 5, thats for sure. I hated the beta. They failed the halo franchise.

I couldn’t agree more. It seems the more they update and worse it gets. Personally, I feel that the game’s original intent (H2 Anniversary) should be the only game on the disk or digital download. If there are problems with all of the coding differences between different engines used to build the halo games REMOVE THEM and just give us H2A. The other games should be given (since we paid for it as advertised) but they should be all separate downloads or disks. There for the match making issues are solved, players can play the halo style they want and they can get the maps and/or game types desired in the voting screens. Putting all of this into one game was ridiculous to think about from the start!! I have moved on and will also not be buying Halo 5. Halo 5 will not be competitive unless sprint is removed, which it won’t be. Thank you 343i and Microsoft for promising the “halo experience you’ve been awaiting for” and delivering… searching… searching… searching… found words… joining words… searching… an exact opposite experience for what was wanted - a simple Halo 2 remake. BTW - for all the people around supporting Halo 4… if it was a good game… where did it go? …searching…searching…searching… exactly.
343 will probably never fix any of these issues…
Only playlist that sort of works for me is Swat.
Also I’d like to point out, after your game ends. You are immediately sent back to the Playlist title screen, and previous players are gone. In other words, you cannot Party-up like previous Halos’.
Party up needs to be implemented immediately along with ranks…
I actually had my first good night of match making last night in the H4 playlist. Found games fairly quickly and consistently (almost always the same group I left after researching) and the connection didn’t seem too bad.
I didn’t try searching in a party though.
Still lots of room for improvement in the menu system. No population counter is frustrating and there needs to be a boot option for betrayals but improving the matchmaking stability is definitely a priority (much more important that than the ODST campaign).

I have never posted anything on forum but now I have to. Halo mcc has failed me big time. I can’t keep a match going at all, especially big team battle. Microsoft you have lost a customer…

Woah, no way! An update that did absolutely nothing, and actually made some things worse? I can’t even believe that, as it’s never happened before, especially not in this game.

I agree, just thank 343 for continuing this franchise! If not for that we’d all be stuck playing some worse games like cod, fml if it came down to that I probly wouldn’t even play video games anymore? Thank you 343 for bringing back this amazing franchise and not -Yoinking!- it up, unlike a few people I actually thought halo 4 was well done, and halo 5 is looking good. -Yoink- all haters
Also it needs to be fixed that i have to wait 20mins or even longer finding a game! Sometimes it will search and search forever finding no Game at all and that in a list like SWAT!
The Game is out since Months and even it is nice that i get one free Month Xlive Gold,i bought the Game because i wanted to play online,without waiting for an update which makes it playable!
I had to pay immediately to get the Game and not some months later,so i feal misled when i have to wait until im finaly able to get a stable product which i paid for!(it is sold as a full retail and not as Beta or early access!!!)
But now i spend 3 hours searching for games and im actually able playing just 2 games, which are totally unbalanced too!
This is something unbelivable for a Company as big as Microsoft and they should be ashamed selling their Flagship Game in a broken Status,making all their Fans unhappy and reconsidering playing Halo at all! This should be a big,big Warnung sign ,ruining the experience of the Fans from their beloved Halo,which is without doubt the strongest Horse in Microsofts stable! So dont let the Fans get the feeling this Horse now is old,weak and start looking for an alternative,which there are many so…
