This weekly update had one key sentence that really stood out, “new multiplayer modes, maps, vehicles, weapons, and REQs, as well as game updates and improvements based on your feedback and requests.”
This confirms that we are not only getting new weapons, like previous, but new vehicles! (Falcon, Revenant…anyone). Also it points out we are getting new multiplayer modes. This could either just mean Warzone Firerfight, or it could mean infection too! Acoording to the last line, “based on your feadback and requests.” This means popular thread requests and potitions can rest easy, because it is most likely goning to apear in the game.

Dude, you’re getting way too optimistic.
New doesn’t mean original, especially with 343’s track record with the previous content drops. New gamemodes could be “FFA Breakout” and our feedback and requests could be that one salty sam who whined about that one Elite on Raid on Apex 7 that always runs away at the start.
But it could be Infection, and the Falcon (doubt it as the Reach update is the month after March), but it might not.
The point is, hope for the best, but expect the worst.

I thought the exact same thing. New vehicles = Gauss mantis
well i wouldnt expect too much but we could get infection,and depending on what the reqs are(could be useless eblems) they could just be there to increase the pool of items in the packs (so you dont get what you want lol)
Set your expectations. Wouldn’t want to be disappointed because you looked way too far into something, especially when we’ve seen “new vehicles” before in the form on the Tundra and Woodland vehicles a while ago.
As others have pointed out, I expect they meant the Gauss Mantis.

Yeah, we all heard this before. from “your” I assume they speak of us or we the players but it never is. Compare to the later updates, only grifball would be the only one they actually did something the players wanted. Or better yet, really needed to fix. Last update we got new…colors…why?
yeah, by new vehicles they probably mean the rail/gauss mantis and a billion new warthog skins for a vehicle who’s only variant is popular is the ONI version

I dont think so, since there is a Reach update in the future
The mode is probably just an official version of oddball in matchmaking. We can hope for infection but seems unlikely.
I wouldn’t get my hopes up for “new” vehicles. The sneak peak we saw was just a buffed Mantis, it’s more likely we’ll just get more variants of existing vehicles. Would be nice to be proved wrong though

There was actually a lot of threads about the color selection, and when they announced the new colors, there was much rejoicing.
I was fine though. I had my brown that they actually SUBSEQUENTLY TOOK OUT but I’m happy for everyone else.
