Welcome to the Official Sprint Post, A Way to Fix Sprint
Introduction
As you all know, Sprint took an active roll in Halo Reach, giving players the mobility to explore and manoeuvre parts of the map. A new intake on Halo completely (not to mention assassinations). Sprint was one of the greatest implements to Halo (I am not biased! This is not meant to insult anyone!), but whats that? Nobody likes it? Why you might ask. Because many players find that it slows down gameplay and gameflow. By having Sprint, you not only give players the opportunity to explore the map faster… But you also give them a reason to evade. Something that many players are constantly reminded of when ever they loss an opportunity to kill an opponent because of quick evasion. Iv’e noticed that many of you fellow Halo fans are not happy with Sprint, this bothers me just like Sprint bothers you. Why do I care? Because I TOO am a Halo fan, I am one of you and nothing more! I present this form to you today in hopes of a FULL resolution to the arguments of Sprint! Please, I now Welcome!
A Way To Fix Sprint!
My Solution
Its very easy indeed! It even involves the use of CLASSIC genuine Halo material (haha you see what I did there? I knew you’d like!). All it is really, is the use of…
Power-ups! Explanation
Now I know that some of you out their may judge me by my solution. But please let me finish what I am going to say. My solution is the use of power ups. You know? Those Red and Blue thingies that give you superpowers (not really).
Anyways, on a serious note, I know that many of you are tired of armer abilities (as am I). So I came up with this solution to resolve the problems. Basically what my solution is, is to use a custom power up that gives you the ability to Sprint (if not that, than move faster). This would make game play fair because it creates Sprint as a Power Weapon, power weapons are generally located in precarious parts of the map (like the centre). Doing this will remove Sprint from the load outs, and potentially erase it from other maps (like small ones). I do realize that some players like Sprint and others don’t, that is why Sprint would now be in the form of a power up, that would last for a few seconds. Now, that means that only GOOD players would be rewarded with Sprint (as they have to fight for it) and BAD players won’t be able to use it for Bad purposes. This also means that Sprint (as a power up) won’t necessarily be in all maps. Which would help out the players who dislike Sprint. Also, if you don’t like Sprint, you now won’t have to use it. As it will be in the form of a power up, not a load out. With this idea, we can also replace the use of Armerlock, and Active camo as load outs. And instead use their power up forms (Armer lock being Overshields, and Active Camo being… well. Active Camo).
Ending
All good things must come to an end. But I will assure you that I will make a return in future posts! If you enjoyed this thread, or have comments that you’d like to make, please feel free to express them. I will except ALL answers!
Please Halo Community, do not judge me for this post. And please remember that I too am one of you!
KEEP IT CLEAN
