So besides the Master Chief Collection, there are a ton of games coming out soon. Personally, not very many look promising to me, but I was wondering what titles were of interest to you Waypointers.
The only games that look good to me are Alien Isolation and Assassin’s Creed Unity (maybe AC Rogue … maybe).
But we also have CoD AW, Evolved, Sunset Overdrive, Fable Legends, etc., etc. … which ones do you guys think look promising and why?
I’ve only ever enjoyed two CoD games, and those are CoD2 and the first Modern Warfare, so I already know I will not be getting Advanced Warfare (the only thing that may convince me to try it is that it’s a new developer.)
I loved the first two Fables; Fable III was okay, but the 4v1 co-op in Fable Legends looks gimmicky and I’ve heard nothing of a single player campaign.
Anyway, just shopping for ideas and wanting to hear some opinions because right now, there’s very little that looks worth getting. And not just games I mentioned, feel free to include any and all upcoming games that seem decent.
After the tragedy that was Ghosts, I told myself that I would never get another Call of Duty until I saw some real change. Apparently, that change is coming sooner than I thought. Advanced Warfare looks very promising.
I’m also anticipating Ori and the Blind Forest. I may get The Evil Within and Sunset Overdrive depending on reviews.

Okay, at the very least I’ll either find some way to try it out first or I’ll wait until it’s under $40.
I know Microsoft seems very excited about Sunset Overdrive; it’s their new IP and all, and they’re really promoting it well, but I just don’t get it. It doesn’t look interesting at all, but maybe it’s a blast to play.
And I forgot about Ori, that looks adorable.

Doesn’t look very interesting to me either. Of course I’m only basing this off of short trailers, but the “traversal combat” just seems like a gimmick that would get old after a while. I imagine the co-op mode being fun though.

Have you watched the opening sequence? Definitely a Lion King vibe.
It hasn’t been shown yet, but my hype for Battlefront is reaching astronomical levels.
Other than Halo 5, I am excited for Sunset Overdrive. However, it just screams, “trying hard to be hip and funny”. The customization is what caught my interest, and the gameplay looks basic and simple, but fun. I want to be an androgynous male with long hair and a mini skirt. Do not ask why.
