Hello MCC Players,
The team is putting the finishing touches on a build update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection that we hope to release later this week. This patch contains several fixes for high priority issues that the community has called out since our last update.
The good news is that this update includes a more robust solution for players having issues matchmaking in some regions, addresses idle players in matchmaking, numerous fixes to Halo CE, and several other quality of life improvements and bug fixes. We are currently working on patch notes to share all of the goodness sometime later this week.
The less good news for the upcoming patch is that it will invalidate mid-mission checkpoints for Halo: CE Campaign. This means that after the update, you will still have access to the missions you have currently unlocked, but will lose your checkpoint save from mid-mission progress. We wanted to get this information out early so players who want to can finish any missions they are currently working on ahead of the update.
The next MCC patch is currently targeted for later this week (aiming for Thursday) but is still in flux, pending a final green light from test.
