With less than a month to go before the new Champions Bundle DLC is released, I feel the need to say how excited I am that we are finally getting new armor to add to our customization options. More than that though, I’m excited about just how the new armor designs look.
The Mark V - It’s got the great look of how 343 re-imagined it when they released Halo: Anniversary, and that design, though way more detailed than the original design from a decade ago, still strikes home to the classic feel that is Mark V. I’m looking forward to being able to use this armor type again since playing the original Halo back in 2001.
The ODST - This is very fitting, since many Spartan IV’s came from the ODST program in the canon. The design is recognizable at a mere glance, and it’s awesome that it includes a backpack like attachment as well!
The Prefect - Finally, real deal Forerunner type armor. It’s pretty cool how it’s got the artistic design that you can tell is obviously Forerunner based. I know I’ll definitely be using the torso and leg pieces in my armor customization!
So, what are your thoughts on the new armor pack? do you like the designs? Both old and new? Or do you feel they should’ve been done any differently?
