What’s the best way to go about completing this challenge? I usually get to 9 then the game ends. Any tips?

The point is that the Flood attack counts as CQC, so you want to be on the Flood team.

I got it in BTB just jacking around with a plasma pistol the entire game. Saw I got to nine halfway through and decided to go for it.
I really just lucked out.
Pretty sure I got mine due to a glitch lol. For many of these challenges for only one game, a lot of the time they seem to carry over, pretty sure I got mine over 2 games.
Got mine on oddball. People blindly run at the ball and I sit waiting to beat them down
use a class with the assault rifle or suppressor you will naturally want to finish your encounters with a melee, so you wont even have to think about the challenge 
Use autos to soften them up then beat them down.
