Unwanted armor changes out of nowhere

I have been experiencing this problem a lot. It has happened to other players too. Whenever I have a second player on my console, guest or not. It ends up changing my spartans armor to match the second players. Then I have to manually go change my armor to how it was before. It does this a lot and its very irritating. All i ask is for a new Halo 4 update to fix this problem.

Can confirm this is also an issue on my console

Only happens with the Stance for me. Never seen it happen with the actual armor. But I guess its the same thing.

I was playing mp the other day and lost my caller, it changed and i went from c288 to a generic one after i leveled up… and i think i may have had to set up my loadouts again it was kinda weird but it hasn’t happened again since and i’ve leveled up a few times since then

To all that have posted in this thread, is this still an issue for you all? I have not seen this happening personally, and I am unsure as to why it would be occurring with you guys. If the issue is still occurring, I will attempt to see if I can replicate the issue and determine if there is a fix, assuming one is even necessary.

Try and change your armour and when you are still on the screen, have xbl guests change theirs(or other profiles on your Xbox), then conflict with each others’ screens and have the guest or other profile to sign out.
Voila- Your armour or stance has changed.

This bug does occur for me when I sign in guest accounts for screenshot purposes, but I found a possible resolution to that. If the Guest wants to change their armor, have them change only their visor, then backout to the game menu, then they should be able to press start, go back into the armor menu, and change their armor without conflicting with the actual player’s armor.

You can also change loadouts on the guest account, backout to the game menu with the guest and go back to the armor and change it. This method also works to prevent the bug, at least in my case. Try it out and see if either method works for anybody else who posted with the issue.

As for it happening with/between two actual XBL accounts (Which I have seen it happen), I have yet to find a resolution to that.
