So I just had this issue while playing, I finished a mission in H4 and after loading the next mission I had this, the screen was totally black with that text on the screen “Untracked build. won’t upload” displayed in red the music was still playing very low and pressing buttons wouldn’t do anything, pressing home triggered the pause menu but even then leaving the game didn’t do anything, relaunching the game fixed the issue but still kinda worrying and I’m also wondering why it happened as I didn’t do anything special…

I’m having the same issue. From what I understand you have to fully reboot your Xbox One and restart the level and that will fix it. It’s not a solution but it’s a workaround until 343 will fix the issue.
I’m having the same issue. I saved and quit on level 2. Tried to go back in to see if my progress was kept and I get this “untracked build” message. I tried restarting the level and nothing. I rebooted both the game and the One, tried to resume and same message. You know the save bug in H2 was workable but this is getting on my nerves. I thought I was safe since I stayed away from MP but 343 is making me wish I had waited and picked the game up later. Looks like I may have to play H4 mission by mission. Also the update interrupting your game? WTF is that -Yoink-? People will remember this mark from 343 and it will not be forgiven easily. They have burned a lot of people and somewhat me. I’m happy I could play 1-3 but H4 with this bug and having the game interrupted… I may just put this collection down until January.
Regardless I won’t be buying Halo 5 day one, that’s for sure, unless there is a new model Xbox with it that is mind blowing.
343 has one last shot with Halo 5 and if that comes out like this game did, I won’t be buying Halo anymore and it will be dead to me.
I know I won’t be alone as I know many already consider 3 to be the last one.
