UNSC vs. SANGHEILI, HALORP WAR

Hello, Halo Waypoint

I am looking to gather the bulk of role playing gamers that are on Halo: Reach to role play the Fall of Reach through a series of Raids and MILSIM (Tactical & Non-tactical), I wanted to post to see where the general support is and if I can find players to support and spread this in a more ethical manner than just recruiting people for an one time only event.

First and foremost, reply to this post your experiences and how you feel about this? Role playing on an role-play game like Halo (whereas you are Master Chief, Noble Six, Spartan Thorne) has had some mixed reception. I am specifically talking about where do you stand and what is your personal experience in UNSC lore based clans & Sangheili lore based clans that play in Raids and are often times very military.

On to the planning that may be an all time, open rolling admission event until the games servers are dropped. ONI (an UNSC based community organization) would facilitate these sets of Raids and adjust bases for One Bomb Assault, Territories, Invasion & Invasion Slayer. While this will most likely not be a Clan vs. Clan thing we would like for clans to get involved as they narrowly have the roleplaying already solidified within the ranks (or so I would hope) in an logical manner.

More to come, I may keep this post updated or update this HALORP from ONI’s Headquarters.

I am, again, curious of the general populace’s feel for this so reply with anything you have!

What about timezones? Usually these lore based clans are American leaving the UK players out due to timezones. It would be interesting to see if we can draw Halo gamers from around the globe. Not just the states. The timezones have always been the main issue for me which is a shame because it sounds like a very good idea.

I can agree with the timezone thing, being from Japan hardly any games were open at the time. Was a pretty big issue but scheduling for this I’m sure isn’t too hard to do, it solely depends on how many people want to be apart of it.
