UNSC or Covie?

Who do you rather play as?
I prefer UNSC.
But covie are my favorite.
To bad they are underpowered. :frowning:

I wouldn’t say Covenant are underpowered. Their early game is great. Doing a lot of damage then can really hurt. Mixing infantry with Choppers/Ghosts is a great start.

I haven’t touched online. But vs AI Covie seem to struggle early game. And i mix and mingle army.
No hard counters to cyclops.
Banshees are awesome!
Wraith is terrible for a tank. Haha

I think with Covenant, try to mix up your units. Make sure you react to the enemies units.

Covenant have no way to beat a mixed UNSC army late game.

Covenant
WORT WORT WORT

Well I’ve mainly played Blitz so far.

I only like Decimus, and I really like Decimus. He is almost certainly the best infantry commander in the game (haven’t unlocked every card of course so…)
But Shipmaster and Atriox are just not my game. And In general I don’t care for the way most covenant vehicles look - why did they make the Wraith look all jagged this go around?

I prefer UNSC, I’ve enjoyed all the commanders Cutter is my go to but I’ve been trying some new infantry centric decks with forge and had some interesting results. IMO forge has quite possibly the best starting army with ‘Mad Dash’. I didn’t realize just how good veteran jackrabbits were for hot energy pickups till I played with that starting army.

The covenant have some really strong leader powers though.

I’d assume the Wraith looks more jagged because 1. Brutes. Their style has always been more jagged and industrial in appearance compared to the traditional Covenant’s smooth curved aesthetic. 2. The Banished have scavenged a lot of resources and made due with what they got (I believe that was Atriox’s tag line and RTS reference). Think apocalyptic in appearance like Fallout or Mad Max.

I personally like the difference and welcome different takes on the same vehicles so long as it doesn’t deviate too far from the original concept/point.

And to stay on topic, I’ve always preferred to play on the Covenant side. I have my fingers crossed that because they made Forge into a DLC Leader, that they might also bring the Prophet of Regret (my personal fav), and Ripa over, too at some point.

They are not! Why does everyone keep saying this?!
Banished are my favourite!

I’ve got a 80% winrate playing banished Artiox 1v1
if you go heavy war camp units with heavy air engineers. Tends to smash through an entire army only games I’ve lost are rushes.
