UNSC Infinity size. 3.5KM or 3.5 miles?

The trailer from E3 says it’s 3.5 miles long, yet it’s been stated before this that it is 3.5KM long. Which is correct?

Regardless of which here are two graphics to illustrate it’s size at 3.5 kilometers long (I had to fudge the perspective in Photoshop to get it to straighten out. Hopefully we’ll get a nice straight side view soon. (shown on my blog www.halofanforlife.com):

Here it is 3.5 miles long compared to the same ships (I’m going with this as the correct size, since it’s the latest information):

And finally here it is placed against a sky view of midtown Manhattan (New York City, New York). The white line in the pic is 3.5 miles long. The UNSC Infinity would stretch from Times Square to the end of Central Park. Folks, that is MASSIVE!!!

I’m saying it’s 3.5 miles. There’s a Covenant ship next to it in some pictures and if Infinity is 3.5km then the Covenant ship is WAY too small. But if it’s 3.5m then it’s just the right size to be a CRS Light Cruiser.

I’ve heard both… but the enormous difference in size comparison between it and covie cruisers leads me to think that it is 3.5 miles.
