What do you think the Heavy vehicles will be like and how much damage do you think they should do and how much should they be able to take?
I’m pretty sure they’ll bring back the Scorpion or possibly reveal a replacement to deal with the more powerful Prometheans (Grizzly’s maybe?)
(I hope it can take more than 2 clips from a sniper)
As for the new large UNSC vehicle what do you think it’ll be like? I don’t think it’ll be able to be destroyed, so with that said I don’t think it’ll be too powerful either.

That’s actually my problem.
If it’s really like the elephant, but is also counted as one of the two new vehicles (there are only 2 new vehicles, in case you don’t know), then it’s a bit disappointing.
I’m really really hoping the mammoth is indeed similar to the elephant but not counted as a new one.

What will they be like? Heavy and slow.

If they bring a grizzly into MM, that will be the end of the match and also the end of anything that by God moves… no.

The Mammoth? I believe it’ll act like a Elephant with more defensive capabilities. Heck, maybe it’ll be a mobile fortress with rockets on it this time…

Some time down the road, maybe by the end of this decade for the franchise, I’d like to see a vehicle that has mobility similar to Warthogs and the primary weapon being an arching rail gun that acts as a medium range charge anti-small vehicle laser similar to the concept of a Spartan Laser being mounted on a warthog but damaged minimized to one-shot small vehicles and maybe 3-4 blasts for bigger one’s.

i agree, the whole tease thing is really not cool, but even worse is when they tell you that you can do something awesome like drive the civilian vehicles but then don’t put it in forge and give no purpose to them besides the fact that you can simply drive them. if and when we are allowed to do something awesome there should also and still be a reason for us to be doing that awesome thing, not just because we can.
And i totally agree about the escort missions, they are so slow and frustrating. I do not enjoy them at all

Without the EMP and the particle beam being a longer charge/overload mechanism on a slightly more… mobile version and yeah, sure.

I hope it is drivable and not counted as one of the new vehicles. Hopefully 343i means 2 new vehicles that have never been seen before which would rule out the mammoth. I mean, while it is a vehicle, can you really picture it being on most vehicle maps… If it really is like the elephant it may only be on one or two maps. I wouldn’t really count that as a new vehicle thats usable in any map…
On a side note, what if we could spawn elephants in forge… I bet it could easily crush a tank >:D
I was really hoping they put all kinds of vehicular stuff in Forge, and have the multiplayer heavy vehicles about the same as before, perhaps with the “mammoth”. Also if Pelicans count as heavy vehicles, then that too.
