For a few years now, the UNSC has thought MC was KIA. I cant wait for that moment in campaign when Chief is found to be alive. How do you guys think they will find out about chief?
I kind of hope theres a bunch of Promethean Knights fighting some Spartan 4’s and ODSTs and theyre on the verge of losing. I could see this battles taking place near the Infinity, and maybe the Prometheans are trying to infiltrate the ship. Then MC pops out of nowhere and helps finish off the Promethean Knights. Everyone would be shocked to see the Chief, but be more relieved than anything. Then one of the Spartan 4’s should take off their helmet and it should be Buck or someone memorable who deserves to be a Spartan 4, to and maybe even one of the ODSTs could be the Rookie. I love when characters tie in. Then they take him aboard the Infinity and as he’s walking through the corridors and walking by people, you can hear all the chatter from everyone talking about him.
Maybe mine isn’t the best, but its something. Lol. Let me know what you guys think
I’m guessing that the beacon Cortana sent off at the end of Halo 3 is going to be picked up by the Infinity. The Infinity will then go and investigate, and will then be sucked into Requiem (E3 trailer) and Master Chief will be on the way to save the crew. That’s how they’ll find out he’s really alive.

Is that why the Infinity heads towards Requiem? To trace the beacon from Halo 3?

I know I was just kidding. But totally agree with you on the quote.

That’s how they’ll find out he’s really alive.[/ yea probably but they never say they went looking for him they said it was sent for reserch. but it cant be a coincedence they find requium too because Cheif was in deep space or somthing but your probably right .
As per forward into dawn Tom is going to be told they found Cortana’s distress beacon.
Upon investigating Infinity crashes on requiem AFTER the dawn does (the chief is already there when the infinity first arrives)
The Prometheans are assaulting the infinity and the captain is calling all ground troops back in and that is when the chief will get there to di what he does best

Yup, at the end of the Forward unto Dawn trailer, you hear “Mayday Mayday, Forward unto Dawn, immediate evac, 117.”
Thomas Laskey asks for it to be played again and then the trailer ends.
But totally agree with you on the quote.
