With the aspect that ONI is increasingly looking like an enemy in hunt the truth, and throughout Spartan Ops in Halo 4, would you like a mission in the campaign, or be able to have them purely as an option in Firefight as an enemy to fight in waves?
Where the Covenant will have options classically applying Grunts, Jackals, and Elites (still hopeful for Brutes), the UNSC could provide Marines, ODSTs, and Spartans. While there isn’t as much difference between them all, I think it would still be enjoyable to go up against the UNSC, just for something fun in the game.

I think it would be UNSC marines, unless 343 felt like reskinning the marines to look more ONI… but I don’t know if they would do that. One way or another, it would be fun in firefight to go up against marines, rather than covenant using UNSC weaponry.

The Marines want revenge for us killing so many of their brethren for extra ammo, of course they want to kill you!

I know haha, but in all seriousness, with the Civilian populous becoming more against UNSC since the leak in episode 8 hunt the truth, that shows the Master Chief attacking the embassy. I think the UNSC besides a select few like Lasky and others that the MC knows will become the enemy, same with ONI. I also think the UNSC is now on the brink of Civil War, since Ben’s revelation of what they did to the SII’s.
This would be a major point in Halo campaigns, and I think it would be an amazing change of pace.
I remember playing a ce mod map that had you fighting your way off a unsc cruiser, it was a recreation of when agent washington went insane in red vs blue.
It was pretty fun, not too mention you fought ai spartans as well…

Okay… but isn’t the need to specify that kind of like saying you aren’t shooting a human… but human that stomped on a puppy some time in it’s life? I mean they are effectively the same, but you feel less bad about one dying?
I think this would be a very interesting turn, changing things up quite a bit. I see ONI convincing the UNSC that Master Chief is a traitor and thus Chief and Blue Team have to fight UNSC troops.
ONI operatives, security or something of the like. Not the UNSC. I honestly feel/hope things turn into a UNSC vs ONI civil war with innies thrown into the mix.

Considering I’ve killed everyone in Tsavo Highway an Crow’s Nest time and time again, I would not mind it.

We can only hope… but I STILL want to be able to fight against marines even if I am a Spartan.
weird to think we have never fought other humans in a halo game. would be cool.
I hope we fight ONI’s people. MC with his cape & shattered helmet finds out about their betrayal and Locke finds out too, so they storm ONI guns blazing. That would be cool.
