A major issue. Join in progress for Custom Games?
One of the greatest things about all Halo games are the custom games! People used to freely hop around their friends custom games. This isn’t possible anymore! It would also be nice to have some sort of file browser like Halo Reach and Halo 4! Another great thing to add would be to add an option for private custom games to be added to a custom game server list, so we can all have Halo 2 Zombies and Tower of Power just like the old days!
my only unreasonable request is that Halo Reach be eventually added to the MCC as buy able DLC. Win win for 343… Make extra money and give the fans all of the main series halo games on current gen consoles!

I think you covered all the bases, OP. Glad to see someone come up with new and refreshing ideas of what to add to Halo: MCC.
This game would go on for decades if they added these things. I don’t see this as another 343 begging thread, but rather something that really, actually is plausible and worthwhile. We need some sort of hub to tap into custom games.

I’m not personally into custom games, but I fully recognize their importance in Halo’s popularity.
Reach being added would be nice. One of my favs.
Also, what about changing teams in game? It’s been a while since I’ve played customs, but I don’t think you could do it before. I’m not sure.
What about full armor customization for Halo 3? There’s fewer options in h3 so it seems like it would be a lot easier than halo 4 or reach…
Thank you. Having custom games be joinable is extremely important for the ranked / social / customs tripod that made all games Halo 2 - forward so much fun, so replayable. It’s also a big part of “how you remember it”.
Major problem in Custom games you forgot to mention was the fact you can’t change teams, so Halo 2 Infection is ruined cause you can’t switch to green team
I suspect the inability to join in progress custom games is because “custom games” are what matchmaking is currently based off of so to make matchmaking work without letting people join half way through their friends match they disabled the ability to join “custom games” that had already started. Same goes for the ability or rather inability to switch teams.
