Unreal Engine Error - Cannot Launch Game

Current Specs

GPU: AMD Radeon R9 Fury
RAM: 16 GB DDR3
CPU: I7-4790k

I cannot launch the game.

It is running in admin mode
It is running in compatibility mode

The error states the following:
LowLevelFatalError: [File:Unknown] [Line: 200]
Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost
[Error: 0x887A006 - ‘HUNG’]

Event Viewer sites Kernall.dll as the faulting application, I though this meant there was a driver error, I reinstalled the latest drivers, first on my own and then with the AMD auto detect application

I did some googling and tried the following steps with no success

here is a link to the steps I performed:

Any help would be appreciated

I also am having this exact issue; same graphics card too…

I have the same graphics card as well, with 16 gb of ddr4 ram. It is likely the graphics card

Old topic, but I want everyone to see this.

This is definitely a problem with the drivers and UE4. This isn’t something that can easily be fixed. AMD will have to develop a solution themselves, and considering the age of Fiji that’s likely not gonna happen unfortunately.
