I’ll just take a second to explain what the amazing GRD Helmet it, for those who may not know. [ Images are linked below ]
If you’ve seen the image for the anniversary DLC for Reach, it’s the one in the center is donning the GRD helmet. It is also the helmet that is worn by the various dolls that are hidden around the maps of the anniversary DLC. When I first saw the image, I was filled with anticipation for the new helmet, but much to my hearts discontent, the armor was removed before the DLC launched, and was only featured as the doll easter egg.
Personally, it is one of the best looking helmets I’ve ever seen, and I think it would look far better if it were rendered in the Halo 5 engine. This also helps as on of the characters I roleplay as, Vikenti B013, uses the GRD helmet (Yes, I roleplay, Sangdeali with it), and I really want him to make the switch the GEN 2 MJOLNIR, but unlike the other members in his team, there is nothing visually similar to the GRD.
Nothing would be better for me than to see the GRD I’ve been longing for appear in one of 343’s updates in Halo 5. I understand they may already have all of their armor planned out for the next few updated, or even all of them, but there’s a chance that they haven’t. If they are really taking public opinion into account with their decisions, and they are in fact trolling the forums as they claim to be, I think it’s possible that GRD make it into a future update.
I know that there’s lots of armor sets that could be remade or revamped, so even if GRD doesn’t make it, what would you like to see introduces into Halo 5?
