Unplayable - Halo 5 Guardians of lag

I don’t know what happened the last few days but this game is unplayable for me now…

I can hardly damage the enemy team… planting a gernade beside an enemy and shooting him multiple times doesn’t kill him but if one happens to land near me I’m one shot from being dead…

My screen shows I get shot twice by a pistol and I’m dead, same for battle riffle…

I can’t even get close to a battle without just dropping dead… even the death description doesn’t make any sense…

I pay quite a bit a month for internet so I don’t know why this is a problem now…

Whats the point of playing if as soon as I see an enemy I’m down…

It’s also day three and I haven’t even seen a new mp map yet lol

I’m also having issues with the lag–some games it’s unplayable and some games it’s non-existent.

It might be either an interwebs issue or an area issue… depending on your area, it could get pretty bad in lag

It’s messed up on me like twice yesterday to the point it doesn’t say I lost connection or anything just kicks me out. Happend twice.

Some group is DDoSing the XBL servers.

Its not some group DDoSing the servers… its been a problem for quite a while and everytime they do an update it seems to be causing more and more people the same issue.

With me its mostly my dumb dumb interweb provider; sometimes it can be the game. If I were you, I would check your internet speed, and you have a high Mb download/upload rate, it’s most likely the game. If you have a low Mb rating, then it’s most likely your internet giving you a hard time.

I’ve been lagging too but i’m guessing my performance in recent games has been decreasing because of my own internet. Not the group that “DDOSing” our servers.

hmm today i was playing and some games it seems like my shots would not register while other games were perfectly fine.

Same here. Before the update I would very rarely go negative. Now, Almost every game im going negative. I just cant seem to do anything.

for the amount of money we pay for xbox live they should make the wifi better

i just played to get a rank since i havn’t played halo in months and i found out i suck (im blaming part of it on the lag)
