Since there is no thread concerning this I decided to make one. Use this thread to post your crazy forge maps and game types. Leave a short description of the map and link a youtube video with a walkthrough if you like. As of right now I don’t know of a way to link directly to the maps, so just post your gamer tag and make sure the map is in your file share.
( You can access peoples file shares through the games file browser, look for “file share search”)

A remake of counter strikes Ice world with sum halo additions(man cannons and vehicles lol). Built on Erosion. Great map to screw around with friends in. 4v4 to 8v8 slayer game types.

Masive sniper map. Built on Impact. Great for large scale free for alls and 8v8. Download the Sniper Jet packs gametype in my file share aswell to get the most fun out of the map.

I’d love to post a map I made, but, for the life of me, I can’t think of a name for it.
It’s currently under the name “Wizard Peubes” (a running joke between me and a friend when we can’t think of callouts for maps), but if anybody would like to download it from my fileshare and tell me what you think I should call it, feel free. I’ll upload it.
"Wizard Peubes" until further notice.
Edit: supports everything except Dominion, I think.

I like this idea. But I think maybe this should be in the Community Creations section? As a sticky thread? Anyway, I’ve got one map done and in my file share, and another two that just need spawning and gametypes.
Docking Station Sigma:
This is the finished map, it’s set up for SWAT, Infinity Slayer, and CTF. I’m working on Oddball and KOTH gametypes. Built on Impact, the map features a small UNSC starship docked to a horseshoe shaped base. I’ve got a thread with some pictures over on Forge Hub. Be warned that because of the low gravity trait zones I used the map is NOT compatible with any custom gametypes that edit base player traits, due to the fact that map trait zones override any gametype traits.

I say we keep this in the Halo 4 section and try to get it stickied. It’d be nice to have a POSITIVE THREAD FOR THE COMMUNITY in here for once lol. I’m off to bed but I will check out your map tomorow and post some feed back!

WOW another wicked map. Good job man, you guys impress me, this map is match making worthy aswell. Really hope we get a forge map playlist.
Thanks. I’ve got one more up. It’s called Taco Palace. This was the working title, but I liked it so much that I decided to keep the name. It’s also on impact, and also has it’s own Forge Hub thread.
To everyone in the thread: My GT is same, and I’m always up for customs and testing. I’m usually on most nights, between 9pm-1am MST. Let me know if you want help testing your map, or want to help test some of mine.

Zoned looks like it would be a fun SWAT map. Lots of long sight lines and room to run around, but still plenty of cover.
I like Zapped, it reminds me of Sanctuary/Asylum a little bit. It might be a little small for 4v4, but I only peeked at it in Forge. I’ll test it out whenever I can get enough people together.
Surfaced is, you’re right, kind of meh. It has potential, but the areas between the bases and center structure look way too open. Maybe think about adding a little bit of cover on either side? Also, red base has that rock formation next to it. I would try to mirror that on the other side. As it is the reds will have a much easier time pushing on the mid map man cannon, and a much easier time defending the same position.

As I was making surfaced I even noticed that it wasn’t working out too well. I’ll edit it and see if it can’t be salvaged, but I’ll most likely just scrap it.
Brunz, I watched your vids. Nice maps, crazy how you used so much space on spacebound! I like how you use a lot of the man cannons and lifts. Definitely will download those and try to get some inspiration!
I will get to downloading all of the maps discussed here this week when I get some time. I will give feedback too.

Game Types Supported - Infinity Slayer (4v4 / 8v8) (More game types to come)
The map is laid out using both sections of the Ravine template. Teams start opposite sides at red/blue bases located in the grass. Teams will generally gravitate towards the inside section of the map (gold base) where a multi leveled kill zone awaits.
Weapons Featured
Initial infinity drops - Human Sniper / Rocket Launcher / Sword
Random infinity drops scattered across the maps
1 Gauss hog per base
1 ghost per base
2 separate 2 way teleporter nodes
4 mounted human machine guns
The map needs a decent amount of play testing. I’ve not had my regular friends on since completion to put it thru some good ole fashion fraggin. That being said, if you are looking for a new map to play some customs on or interested in checking it out please do a file share search for gamer tag “htown b4lla”
