Going headshot for headshot, full speed, I’ve found which weapons are superior to eachother.
Weapons tested: BR, Carbine, LR 3 shot, LR scoped
Results:
BR:
Loses to DMR
Loses to Carbine
Beats LR 3-shot
Loses to LR-scoped
DMR:
Beats Carbine
Beats BR
Beats LR-3 shot
Loses to LR-scoped
Carbine:
Beats BR
Loses to DMR
Beats LR 3-shot
Loses to LR-scoped
LR 3-shot:
Loses to BR
Loses to DMR
Loses to Carbine
Loses to LR Scoped
LR-Scoped
Beats BR
Beats DMR
Beats Carbine
Beats LR 3-shot
In conclusion: The Light Rifle scoped takes first place as the best long range primary. Followed by the DMR which beats 3/4. Followed by the Carbine at 2/4, and the BR at 1/4. And finally the LR 3-shot takes last place, killing slower than everything else.
I will agree with you. Honestly, I would prefer if the LR unzcoped was buffed a bit and the LR scoped nerfed a bit. When unscoped, it is very hard to get kills, yet it is still my favorite weapon.
> Nice info! I think you should do the same thing with varying ranges and even throw the automatics in and put in on youtube!
Thank you, as a bit of extra info for anyone wondering, these are point blank headshot-only. Though I chose these guns to test because range doesn’t affect their damage.
If I have time I might go through and test every single variable: headshot/bodyshot/range/(automatic/trigger pulsing) and such. But not today.
I dont know if you will get my meaning, but the loght rifles scoped projectiles feel like they need more over aim than the DMR, so if a dmr user is strafing a LR, The LR has to shoot ahead of his target.

I feel like that’s a scope preference.
No matter the actual damage statistics, some people will just do better with certain guns. The reticule and “feel” of a gun play into that.
