Unnecessary Changes

I am not talking about loadouts and stuff like that, just the little things.

Such as the sounds and looks of the weapons and the look of some of the enemies. It seems like change for the sake of change.

I understand this is a new developer but it is still the same series. It feels strange at times when you look at the differences.

It is like when your favorite TV show replaces an actor for one of the characters. It is still the same show, but looking at it without that person feels weird.

Weapons sounds are WAY better. (Based in real guns this time)
343i is trying to make the Covenant more scarier and before you start yelling they’re bad.
Look what Bungie did with Heretic Covenant(Halo 2)… THAT is ugly.

Well, if you want to look at it story-wise, this is set years after the events of Halo 3. Weapons are bound to be upgraded from their previous models, and the covenant were crippled after the war, leaving them with cheaper materials to make armor out of. I find the changes are rather logical.

Asault Rifle sounds beast though, way better then Halo 3’s did.

Halo:Reach’s Elite looks great IMO.

Compared to Halo 4’s Elite.

Graphically, yeah 4’s is better. But they need some weight put on em. Must’ve been hitting that pipe in between games, lol.

I’m I like one of the few people that like the changes but I can also see where some of the complaints are coming from.

Based off some of the interviews, 343i intentionally overhauled some aspects of the graphics/images/gameplay. It doesn’t look too bad to me from the videos I’ve seen, but for you guys that have apart from the onset, the subtle changes may seem unnecessary or unappealing. It’s like when someone tries a new haircut/hairstyle. :=)

Well hang onto ur butts because when/if(mostlikley) Halo 5 hits the new console, the graphics are going to evolve and be much more finely detailed. Maybe they are planning ahead.

its the small details that define something and 343 is trying their own definition of halo
