Unmatched skill

I wanted to go back to my roots a few days ago and play some halo 2 on the MCC (which I know has some issues.) But it seems like I always get matched up with people with skill levels between 35 and 50. Now to be fair I’m not as good as I used to be so I’m pretty far down in the ranks but how do I keep ending up getting paired up with these halo 2 skill giants? I’m sure there are plenty of level 9-11’s out there playing still. This doesn’t make it to fair for us low levels trying to rank up. I played four or 5 matches in which the other team was all ranked 45-50 while my team and I were ranked between 10-13. (How those match ups make sense is beyond me)

So you all know I’m not complaining about it, I’m just really curious is all. Any info on this would be helpful.

Because the population is quite low, and since like Halo 2/3’s multiplayer, majority of the players still playing MCC are in the high 40s, if not 50.

i cant believe you actually listed 9-11 as a range i cant tell if that’s supposed to be serious or just an edgy joke

Nahh I’m really that bad now. No joke. Lol my halo 5 skill rank bounces between platinum 6 and platinum 4. I’m sure if I stay on MCC more my old skill would return. Lol and I thought of that I’m sure the numbers were just low. But I always was sure that there was still quite a big fan base for it over H5. Ah well it is what it is.
