What are yall thoughts on having to play more to unlock precision weapons.
Please i just want opinions.
Kill people with the gun to unlock it as a starting weapon?
It gives the game a bit more longevity.
I really can’t say anything about. Well… I can say that I’m pretty excited to see how it turns out, though I just can’t make a final judgement on it. At least we know that BR slayer is in.
I thought he said once you played through enough you will be able to unlock the BR. I just want to know how people feel about this.
I think it’s good. It gives me even more of a reason to play. Cosmetics are cool, but simply aren’t rewarding enough for my tastes.
As of now, it’s pretty much my only complaint with the game. It’s not the fact that we have to wait for the BR, but the fear of running out on the battlefield with only an assault rifle and facing off a guy with a BR who has been playing a little bit longer.
I suppose you will probably be put into games of people similar to your own rank, so maybe it won’t be too bad. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Terrible idea for a halo game. Unlocking weapons, give me a break…
I was warming up to the idea that you could choose your starting weapon between typical starting weapons like AR/BR/DMR. , but learning that we have to unlock such basic weapons is one of the dumbest ideas ever conceived and adds absolutely nothing positive to the game.
That’s my opinion.

This is one of the things i would be afraid of.
Unlocking for Loadout ≠ Picking it up on a map.
I don’t mind that much. As explained in the Sparkast, the BR and the DMR won’t be as dominant as in the previous games it seems. All weapons will have their use depending on the situation / range.
You do realise you can still pick it up, right?
It’s unlockable as a starting weapon, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pick it up around the map.
Of the two UNSC precision rifles, I’m assuming the DMR will be the more accurate of the two.
That’s nitpicking, though. To answer your question, I’m on the fence. On the one hand, unlocking new items for your character can be addictive. On the other, it gives people who have been playing longer an unfair advantage on top of their experience at the game.

well they said that if your good you get more xp so and we also dont know how long it will take to unlock the br for all we know if you beat the campign you have unlocked it
Well it gives me incentive to keep on playing the game at least. Something that I want to work towards for my advantage ingame. I also like the fact that if new players dont want to encounter people who have possibly already unlocked their BR, DMR, Carbine, etc., they can go into Spartan Ops, gain enough spartan points so they can unlock that precision weapon that they had their eye on way before they even touch matchmaking.

Yes, but this just for the starting weapon. I know all of them will be pick ups on the map. Well I hope so anyway.
And you can hop in to Spartan Ops and earn the weapons like that, without even touching the multiplayer.

Sure why everyone is fighting and my teammates are calling out for me to help, (I’m going to say hold on man i gotta pick up the BR be back in a sec.)
Spawning with a BR in your Loadout by choice is really no different than spawning with something else, then going to pick a BR up 5 meters from where you spawn.

it almost makes me cry,i mean buying weapons and customize your classes,CoD anyone?
and then choosing your AA with your class? i am so damn sad and dissapointed
