Unlocking Specializations...

Okay, so after picking up the STANDARD EDITION of the Halo 4 game, I was surprised to see a posting on xbox live stating “BUY AND PLAY HALO 4 ON XBOX LIVE BY NOVEMBER 20th” we will be able to unlock 6 of 8 specializations…

I’ve read just about every post out there on the issue, but one thing is still unlcear to me…

Do I have to rank to SR50 by the 20th to unlock these items?
If so, that seems unfair, given the amount of lag many of us are experiencing not to mention the loss of XP points at one time or another…

Can someone please help definitively answer this conundrum for me? if not for everyone else with the same concerns?

Nah, I’m pretty sure it is just buy and play Halo 4 by the 20th. I doubt 343 is asking their community to rush to 50.

You do not need to be sr-50 to be eligible to receive the other specializations.

You simply receive a code via email with a code giving you “access” to the rest of them.

Like how wetworks and operator are locked until you enlist in one of them, you’ll instead have the full list to pick from when you reach sr-50
