I played thru the campaign on legendary offline, but the armor wont unlock. Do I have to play it all over again online? or will it unlock once I get online?

I’m sorry but since the armor requires you to complete the campaign commendentions for it. I see no other way than to complete the campaign on Legendary all over again.

Ha! this is the same exact thing that happened to me… i beat the legendary difficulty on solo the day after it came out, but unfortunatly the telephone pole outside crapped out so my wifi was busted… i didnt get my armor. so i pouted around for a day or two… but i really didnt care after a while. i had my achievement.
Isn’t this to prevent people from cheating to receive it? They would have to be online to accept their reward. If this is the case, than 343 should have amped up the campaign because it was easy.
If they want people to obtain it legitimately online, at least make it a challenge.
Good luck playing it again.
My advice: wait to do certain missions on legendary when there is a challenge so that you may at least get some experience-based reward when playing.
