Unlocked Halo 2 BR, disappeared after next match

During intermission between game modes I opened a gold req pack and got the Halo 2 Battle Rifle and let the next Shotty Snipers Arena match play and backed out to the lobby afterwards and my Battle Rifle was gone. How can I get my Halo 2 BR back?

Go into a WZ game and see if the H2BR is there.

Did you check your REQ collection? It should be in there. If it’s in there but you can’t equip it, you’re probably experiencing the “Retrieving Data” error.

It’s been over 12 hours now and still can’t use it nor is it showing up as unlocked

Try restarting your internet router, maybe a profile sync error occurred just as you got the weapon. Worst case scenario, you’ll have to keep buying Gold Packs to get it again.
