Unlockable exclusive DLC through random REQ packs?

So a friend told me that the items given away as pre-order DLC can be unlocked randomly through REQ packs, though they are supposedly very very rare.
Is anyone able to confirm this?
If it isn’t can we assume that most of it will be available through the store at some point?

all pre order stuff can be unlocked through req.
Only things it wont do are achievement based unlocks like the armors you get from nightfall and MCC

Yes, everything pre-order bonus and every bonus in general is available through random REQ packs. The point of them being bonuses was that you’d get it right off the bat.

Helioskrill is available from REQ packs, so this is false.
