I say this with all due respect.
Who is the team of people that have no common sense and I have a hard time trying to fathom the amount of stupidity , with all due respect , the collective -Yoink!- that thought unlucking one shoulder pad at a time was good idea. I really cannot comprehend the level of dueche and out of touch lack of intelligence that your team said yes lets have them unlock a shooulder pad and 3 levels later (which is 60 multiplayer games) to unlock the matching shoulder pad. I am stunned … totally stunned someone thought this was a good idea. Wow pull you head from your -Yoink!- and make this right. Whats next I get the cod piece that protects my -Yoink!- but the matching part that covers my balls I get several battle pass levels later. Wow stunned.

Just saying “with all due respect” doesn’t make it so. Also, progressing 3 levels is way faster than 60 games.
Where are you getting that extra xp passed 6 matches??? Tell me, please, I’m desperate!
Of course I’m including those 6 matches, why wouldn’t you? Also checking off a few weekly challenges. I progressed 3 levels yesterday in 4 or 5 hours.
You spoke generally that it’s way faster than 60 matches to progress 3 levels. Wanna do some math? Ok, say we have the dailies, 6 matches, so 1 level. Let’s say we have a challenge which is completed in 4 matches, I’ll say 500xp assuming 300xp hard challenge. That’s 1500xp remaining, and just the daily exp, so 30 matches. 30 matches plus the 10 prior is 40 matches.
Is 40 matches way less than 60 matches? Not for me because I don’t play near that much on the daily. And I doubt the average player does either.
If I’m following your math correctly, you are assuming that you are progressing on the weekly challenges only after the first 6 matches and that you only complete a single weekly challenge worth 300xp in all those 40 matches. I’m sure you realize that you can progress 3 weeklies simultaneously (yes, even during those first 6 matches), if someone only completes a single challenge in 40 matches they would have to actively try avoiding progress.
Obviously you would actually need weekly challenges still left to work on. So, maybe your progress slows down a bit near the end off the week when you are working on your final few challenges.
You can keep doing hypothetical math, but I would recommend basing the rate of progress on your actual progress. See how many levels you get next week (a full 7 days) and track how many matches you played (I prefer looking at hours of play, but # of matches is fine to if that’s what you prefer). Everyone’s average rate of progress will be slightly different since everyone plays differently. If I play 6 matches every day my rate will be faster than someone playing 42 (6x7) matches once a week.
Yes, I was only saying one challenge. You can level about 10 times a week just doing the weekly challenges. But when you’re out of them, then you are relying solely on the 6 matches 1 level, then it goes back to 20 matches per level per day.
You just say it’s outright incorrect to say that 60, so yes they’re being hyperbolic, but still not entirely. They could have hit that level for the one shoulder(6 match level) and then have no more weeklies and be looking at 60 matches at that point for 3 more levels if they want it that day.
After all this, I will still say at the point the xp system is at, I think it’s whatever. 10 levels for weeklies and 1 level for 6 matches a day is just fine. I would like a performance bonus like top of the team(even losing team), extra 25-50xp and winning bonus 50xp, but honestly whatever at this point. I want swat and ffa more than anything else atm.
no no, you miss understand. they do have common sense… only when money is involved :3
