In the Flood gameplay vids I noticed that you can use the Thruster Pack while in the air. This means that if you turn on Unlimited AA’s(unless 343 took it out) then you could potentially turn it into a flying machine.
I hope to God that 343 didn’t remove unlimited AA >:(

Somewhat fly, yeah. But it’d get annoying switching from 1st person to 3rd OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
I don’t think you can change your direction while using the thruster pack so you’ll just fly off the map or into a wall if you do it without restriction.

I’d think that it would stay in 3rd if you used it fast enough.
I want unlimited Promethean Vision for setting up Predator game types. Too bad they got rid of the Elite model for customs.
why not use unlimited jet pack? seems more logical

Sadly, it doesn’t work, you will do the animation of a normal thrust, then it will take you back to first person, then you can instantly thrust again.
You can’t continuously fly

Thruster pack goes strait forward, and is alot faster, jet pack is limited for height also
For some reason, the first thing that came to my mind was the Metroid Screw Attack if you could have unlimited thrusters while in mid air!

Actually, Pro Vision functions more akin to the Sonar Goggles from Splinter Cell:Conviction than Detective Vision from Batman.

I can see this becoming a Achievement Horse map.
No, the thruster pack only gives you a horizontal boost, while the jetpack gives vertical lift.

Indeed you can, it doesn’t limit your Armour Ability usage, allowing you to use lets say, Promethean Vision for as long as you want, or Jetpack for as long as you want.

Yeah, at least in Reach. Unlimited AA is where the gauge for say, Sprint, does not decrease. Until you deactivate it, you can keep using it.
Unlimited Thruster Pack would remind me of the game Vanquish.
