The best place I can find to see them is in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=KX-XWjD61Tk#t=1030s
In the mission “Midnight,” I noticed several ships inside Mantle’s Approach, flying around the Composer. Does anyone have an idea what they are?
They are just transporting stuff around the ship no big deal.
Mendicant, buddy, I’m a canon nerd. It’s EVERYTHING to me!
But yeah, there’s probably bubkis on them…
I am too but there isn’t anything special about them. When cortana is shifting you around portals you see some large cylinders moving around as well.
Really? Frigg, I’ll have to keep an eye out for those when I next play.
They seem more like the size of cars, relative to the platforms you fight on.
Definitely smaller than dropships.
Probably just some sort of sentinel like thing for the ship.
Could be a small ship for transport, could even be a new type of sentinel (unlikely) but it’s probably no big deal they’ve been nuked now
I noticed those too. Weird that they’re never mentioned or seen again.

Its not like we’ve ever had a thorough rundown on a forerunner flagship.
It’s really too bad Campaign did not have Pan Cam. I would have loved to explore the interior space with the ships.
It is a shame they axed the campaign theatre, such a great way to show off all your artist’s hard work.
I wonder if there’s something with the maps themselves that don’t support a free-roaming camera well, since Spartan ops also lacks a theatre.
I don’t know, but I do wish they would have added it. I would have very much so liked to have had Halo 4 screenshot backgrounds for my PC, as well as showing off my feats in Spartan Ops.
