I posted about this previously, but I was just hit with a guy trying to explain how the banning system works. I understand how the broken system works, the problem is that is I shouldn’t be banned when I do get banned. Yesterday, I failed to connect, and got banned for 3 hours again! I would leave matches from time to time when I first got the game, but then I learned how the banning system works, so I don’t leave games anymore. But me being disconnected from games is out of my control, and replying with a link to showing me how the banning system works, will not fix the problem, the problem is the broken banning system. If there is a way to make it so my account only gets banned for like 5 minutes that would be great, but every single time I get disconnected it is for 5 freaking hours. Plus, me and my friends can’t play everyday, so when we all get on for a gaming session, playing a few matches then getting banned when we were planning on playing for at least 2 hours, is just stupid, you should not treat customers this way.
Yeah as the title suggested, after I posted this, it literally happened again, I got banned for 3 hours for doing absolutely nothing wrong. This is not ok, fix this -Yoink- system or unban me because this is straight up -Yoink- I pay 40 bucks for this game just to be banned 1/3 of the time I play it.
There is a dedicated thread for ban related stuff linked below. That being said connection errors have to be treated the same as any other DNF, otherwise people would just pull their ethernet cords to try and get around the ban.
