Unjust - Banned for team Killing

Playing quick play and I was banned for team killing. While zooming a ghost forward we won the match and the screen fades gray, at that moment two team mates drop to my level and get run over. I think nothing of this as the round is over but 2 seconds into the next match and I was booted and banned. I was on my way to finishing my last challenge whose progress is now gone.

Please fix this, if you are going to obstruct the screen at the end of a round in a stage with vehicles remove the ban mechanic, my kills don’t count at round end so neither should that.

Yeah, also if you’re going to take away key features like team damage then don’t ban someone because you’re negligent and still allow players to betray with vehicles.

This is a typical thing with vehicle users because some people even your allies don’t know how to avoid being hit by vehicles… i got kicked many times in halo 4 for this… I imagine it wi’ll happen to me eventually in infinite at this rate…

Or as I like to say… Some people don’t know to look both ways befor crossing the ā€˜road’. (Or they lack spatial awareness…)

It is defintly the ally’s who was betrayed fault for being in the way, when I drive a vehicle I must keep moving, if not I will definitely die quicker or instantly, I don’t think people realize that vehicles have to keep moving to stay alive, and sometimes those people get in the way and are pushed aside resulting in betrayal but actually it’s not betrayal it’s them being a ā€˜roadblock’ Thus I no longer care about getting betrayals while driving because more often than not it’s the random person who did not give way to a giant wedge…

They should remove all friendly fire and other forms of team damage from most matchmaking playlists, and only leave it as an option in custom games and some playlists.
Also, I hope you get your ban removed if it hasn’t been already.

usually it’s temporary.

Oh, okay.
I haven’t been banned yet (hopefully never), so I wasn’t sure.
Can you get banned for being AFK?

don’t think so you can get banned for leaving enough games though I’m not sure how it works in infininte no if your AFK in a game you’ll just get kicked.

That’s good.
I’m AFK somewhat often (like 1 out of 20 matches), and I didn’t want to get banned.

No, I’m saying 343 is negligent and they made it a point to take away team damage, but for some reason you can still run over teammates. It just makes zero yoinking sense

I feel like there’s something more to this story.

I’ve managed to accidentally kill 3 teammates at once by running them over but haven’t been kicked or banned for doing so.

I have yet to betray anyone with a vehicle my dude and there were points I’ve tried.

I dunno how often this is happening to you, but it doesn’t sound accidental.

Yeah, I’ve run into a few teammates, but it didn’t do much to them.
Is it possible the topic creator’s teammates destroyed the vehicle or got smacked into a wall?

Hmm…

Friends, it was against friends

Could be, either way I’m hitting the ā€œsusā€ button

A likely story.

This game needs an Among Us/Werewolf mode.
It’s got the colors, the lack of faces, the sci-fi theme, the customization, the text chat, etc.

Yes I agree with that but this is a problem that has beeng long standing problem with halo of people running over allies, i’ve even been kicked in halo 4 because of it though in that game the player who was run over if they got run over a second time they had the option to kick or not kick me… they alwasy kicked me but if the same guy gets run over twice… you’d think they’d learn.

So yeah In halo four if you betrayed the same person twice they’d get the option to kick you from the game I dunno about other games… but this is what would happen to me when i ran over the same guy more than once.

Nope, that was it… just as surprised as you are

I’ve hit people and knocked their shields but this is the first time be killed anyone, again, I was surprised it happened but didn’t think much past the accident until I was banned.

Nope, again, screen faded as I was boosting on a ghost and whack, two dead team mates (not friends), it was weird and a bit irritating.

It’s super annoyingly easy to accidentally run over people, when boosting in areas with not much vision, like buildings, and get booted in BTB. If they’re going to remove team collision, remove it for vehicles too. Stupid mechanic. It’s like they want you to betray teammates, otherwise they wouldn’t have it in the game.
