So the image showing the button map for the Universal Green Fingers layout shows that Crouch should be usable on both the B button and the Left Thumbstick. In game, however, only B will crouch. Left Thumbstick does nothing.
I haven’t tested other layouts to see if this is the case, but this is annoying as hell. Especially if I prefer hold to crouch instead of crouch toggle.

There’s still no reason why it shouldn’t still work as crouch on previous non-sprinting Halos. Seriously, this is another issue in a long list of them that shows purely sloppy programming and quality control on the part of 343.
Huh. I guess it was weird of me to think there might be a monitored thread where all users could post their bugs, or to expect any kind of support staff to reply to previously unmentioned bugs. It’s not like I’m in a “Halo Support” forum or anything.

I appreciate your saltiness and am also disappointed with my inability to effectively crouch while green-thumbing.
Ya it’s not just Green Fingers that needs fixing either. Boxer, for example, changes reload buttons depending on the game. Hopefully it’s fixed soon…
Just noticed this as well. Was wondering why I couldn’t pull off so many of the Lockout jumps.
